National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is assesses and accredits Higher Education Institutions and is an autonomous body funded by University Grants Commission of National Policy in Education. NAAC assessment is very important for Higher Education in all Education industry, like Arts College, Science College, Pharmacy College, Engineering College, Medical College, Management College, Nursing College, Law Colleges, & all type of University.

Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), with a record of at least two batches of students graduated, or been in existence for six years, whichever is earlier, are eligible to apply for the process of Assessment and Accreditation (A&A) of NAAC. NAAC has identified a set of seven criteria to serve as the basis of its assessment procedures and has categorised the Higher Educational Institutions into three major types and assigned different weightages to these criteria under different key aspects.
